At the start of my final semester of college, I felt like I was having a post-graduation crisis before I even graduated. I was worried I would never find a way to escape my retail job. So I decided to reach out to working artists and ask them how they made it. I turned their advice into a series of zines and a season of the CraftSanity podcast called “Dear Art Students.” I made this project to help me feel better about graduation and share with anyone else who can relate to the fear of pursuing art as a career. I hope it brings you some joy! :)
One of the artists we interviewed, Lou Tsui, owns a risograph studio, CopyCat Studio, and I commissioned them to print a limited run of their zine for me! All other zines are inkjet printed.
