Introducing the Granny Saver 3000, the embroidery sampler mask that you stitch, sew up and wear around town. While there is absolutely nothing funny about a global pandemic, we're hoping to employ a bit of levity to inspire people to mask up for their own safety and to protect everyone they come in contact with, too.

This mask features a line drawing of a granny that you can embroider or color with fabric markers if you'd rather speed up the process.

We never imagined we'd be printing face mask samplers in our West Michigan studio and here we are with our second embroidery sampler release. The Granny Saver 3000 was drawn by my daughter, Abby Haywood. The idea was inspired by her dad and carved and printed by me

I carved and printed this ready-to-stitch mask design. They are printed on unbleached, cotton tea towel fabric that lends a nice texture to the finished mask.

What's Included?

Option 1 - Sampler Only This listing is for the top layer of the mask only which means you will need to supply your own embroidery supplies, light weight interfacing and lining fabric, nose wire and two hair bands to finish your mask.

Option 2 - This option includes the face mask sampler + light weight interfacing, lining fabric, nose wire and two hair bands to finish your mask. Please note: You will need to supply your own embroidery thread and supplies as they are NOT included.

Sizing

This is a one size fits most adults mask design. I used a ¼" seam allowance to sew the sample. If you want to make the mask smaller, simply use a wider seam allowance when sewing the mask pieces together.
